An address by

Al Gore
Chairman, Generation Investment Management

Global capitalism is facing the critical challenges of financial instability, shortened investment time horizons, and multiple ecological, social, and demographic crises. While multilateral action by national and international authorities provides some solutions to these problems, investors are playing an increasingly prominent role in mitigating these crises. The Honorable Al Gore will discuss how investors, particularly sovereign wealth funds and other long-term investors, can leverage their expanding global influence to build robust social and environmental governance standards through investments that protect the environment, promote stability, and advance intergenerational welfare.

Followed by a question and answer session with the audience.
