Jonas Gahr Støre
Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway

and

Jason Bordoff
Professor of Professional Practice in International and Public Affairs

Welcome by:
Dr. Katrina A. Armstrong
Interim President of Columbia University in the City of New York

With the clean energy transition well underway around the world, Norway continues to make progress on the path to transforming itself into a green energy hub in Northern Europe. Building on decades of experience as a leading energy producer, the country is working to meet the energy transition’s demands while playing a key role in navigating today’s complex geopolitical and energy security challenges. To shed light on these issues, as well as the political choices and obstacles the country faces in its pursuit of a green and secure energy future, Mr. Jonas Gahr Støre, Prime Minister of Norway, joins Mr. Jason Bordoff, Founding Director of the Center on Global Energy Policy at Columbia University SIPA, at the Columbia World Leaders Forum for a conversation on Norway's Age of Energy.

Columbia University students are invited to participate in a moderated question and answer session.

This program is cosponsored by the Institute of Global Politics and Center on Global Energy Policy, at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA).

Advanced registration is required for in-person attendance. Registration has closed. Please join us for the live stream on the World Leaders Forum Website.
