Welcome by:
Wafaa El-Sadr
Executive Vice President of Columbia Global and University Professor
This discussion will explore how Greece grew twice as fast, compared to the Eurozone average, following the country's recent acquisition of investment grade and solid economic performance. The Prime Minister will present the policies that allowed the country to turn the page and move from a crippling debt crisis a decade ago to topping the Economist's annual ranking of rich-world economies and being named "Country of the Year" in 2023.
Columbia University students are invited to participate in a moderated question and answer session.
This program is cosponsored by Columbia Global Centers and the Columbia Business School.
Due to a change in the Prime Minister's schedule and travel, this event has been canceled.
